"Mapas de Carnaval" foi produzido entre fevereiro e março do ano de 2020 e é uma homenagem ao evento civilizador que ocorre na Estrada Intendente Magalhães (via pública na cidade do Rio de Janeiro).

É o primeiro volume de uma coleção de gravações chamada Intendente Tapes, que tem por objetivo abrigar uma série de obras mais livres de certos compromissos formais e com menor duração, ideia algo inspirada no desfile deste ano da recém-fundada liga do carnaval carioca, a LIVRES, que adentrou a Estrada Intendente Magalhães às 3 da madrugada de terça e foi até pouco antes da hora do almoço da quarta de cinzas.

"Mapas de Carnaval" was produced between February and March of 2020 and is a tribute to the civilizing event that takes place on Estrada Intendente Magalhães (a public road in the city of Rio de Janeiro).

It is the first volume of a collection of recordings called Intendente Tapes, which aims to house a series of works that are freer from certain formal commitments and of shorter duration, an idea somewhat inspired by this year's parade of the newly founded Carioca carnival league, the LIVRES, which entered Estrada Intendente Magalhães at 3 am on Tuesday and went until just before lunchtime on Ash Wednesday.
