Mario (Atletas) vive no bairro do Itanhangá, no Rio de Janeiro, perto da floresta e do Rio das Pedras. O disco talvez acompanhe um trajeto diário até lá, para quem vem do Jardim Oceânico ou da Linha Amarela. Mas os acontecimentos que levaram ao Atletas foram muitos e nos trazem também a uma espécie de ginásio adaptado no Forte Copacabana.

Mario (Atletas) lives in the Itanhangá neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, near the forest and the Rio das Pedras community. The album may accompany a daily commute there, for those coming from Jardim Oceânico or the Yellow Line. But the events that led to Atletas were many and also bring us to a kind of adapted arena in the Fort of Copacabana.

I have been shouting this from the top of my roof for so long so I better say it here too: Babe, Terror would have a Burialesque reputation if he was born in Western Europe or America. It's an absolute travesty that major music publications wouldn't put any light on this truly groundbreaking music. It is complex beyond anything I have ever heard. If you haven't come across his music before you need to dig into his discography, now! Harsh Agarwal
